A dynamic and driven Logistics Coordinator is required. Working closely with Directors, Manager, warehouse and Driver teams, this is a pivotal role which would suit a proactive, organised, intelligent individual that relishes supporting and developing business in a fast paced and growing business.

The role is to manage all aspects of arrange exports and imports of goods via sea and road, Booking shipments, collation all shipment paperwork, assigning the haulage requirements of loads.

East London Textiles is a well-established company specialising in recycling of used clothing, shoes and other household items. We have developed strong partnerships with UK Charities and Councils to purchase the goods we process and then strong Customer relations all over the world for selling of the processed goods. With over 16 years in the industry our professional approach, regular service and friendly team provide continuous growth of business.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**:

- Cost effective dispatch planning of all customer orders through active liaison with commercial, operations and transport teams
- Arranging customer shipping arrangements
- Coordinating haulage of the orders
- Co-ordinating Import and Export activities for the site, including booking, and export paperwork
- Managing customer orders including liaising with production, processing all relevant paperwork
- Liaise with warehouse Supervisor as to priority of orders to be shipped
- Proactive planning and tracking orders to completion
- Answer sales enquiries from current and new customers in a timely manner
- Assisting with production of warehouse production and performance data
- Working as a key member of the office team providing operational support
**Key Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in Logistics Role
- Excellent command of English with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills/Advanced Knowledge of EXCEL
- Strong teamwork with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other key business contracts at all levels of seniority
- Ability to manage and prioritise work with mínimal supervision

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
