**Job Title **:Gledhill Hull Depot Team Leader

**Function **:Outbound Logistics (Hull Based)

This Team Leader role will be responsible for warehouse/transport duties for the Gledhill Hull Depot. As a key customer contact, and acting as an ambassador for the business, exemplary levels of customer service skills are essential for this position. Initial training hours being 04:30am - 12:30pm, with overtime and hours being variable as and when required. After training is complete core hours being 23:00 - 07:00 with overtime as and when required.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Loading and unloading stock - Daily inbound stock received from Gledhill Blackpool.
- To pick goods from within the warehouse environment to a Sales pick and load to vehicle as per routing
- Ongoing Stock Control - checking physical stock against system stock and investigating discrepancies
- Delivering stock accurately and professionally when necessary
- Ensure that the workplace is clear of debris and waste is properly disposed of, adhering to high standards of 5S and housekeeping in the area
- Ensuring that the vehicles are kept in clean, tidy and that all defects are reported
- Maintaining the highest driving standards at all times to ensure safety and legal compliance
- Liaising and communicating effectively with colleagues
- Displaying exemplary standards of customer service at all times
- Dealing appropriately with any complaints in order to gain resolution
- Ensuring that all paperwork is completed correctly and accurately
- To assist with driving high standards of health and safety, involvement and continual improvement in health and safety standards and performance
- Ensure that quality standards are adhered to
- To carry out all tasks as assigned by the FDC Manager
**Essential requirements include**:

- Excellent I.T. skills with ability to be trained on bespoke Transport Management / Stock Control systems and the use of Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience within a warehouse environment
- Previous multi drop delivery driving experience an advantage
- Able to comprehend written English
- Able to commit to a flexible working pattern
- Proactive, enthusiastic, can-do attitude
- Polite, well presented and positive to demonstrate high levels of customer service
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Good communication skills
- Confidence to make decisions, referring to manager if necessary
- Committed to achieving excellent levels of attendance and punctuality
- Ability to manage own time and prioritise when required

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
