Senior Patient Booking Co-ordinator

We are looking for a motivated and flexible Senior Patient Booking Co-Ordinator to contribute to the delivery of high quality care to our patients. Dermatology and plastics are a very busy specialty providing surgical procedures for a wide range of conditions. You will be responsible for arranging admission dates in line with treatment plans, whilst balancing the need to adhere to National and local targets, including cancer waiting times. You will also have line management responsibility for a team of booking co-ordinators.

Data input skills would be advantageous, as daily tasks will include adding patients to the electronic Waiting List and validation of electronic pathways.

You will have good communication skills and will be responsive to the needs of the service.

You will be a point of contact for patients, speciality teams and other departments for all enquiries relating to patient admissions.

An awareness of theatre capacity issues would be advantageous however close working relationships with Consultants, Booking Co-Ordinators and the Admin and Performance Co-ordinator will ensure smooth running of the service.
