Salary £50,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience

+ company pension and a profit share scheme

Hours: 08.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday

Based on site Luton

Our client is well established as a leading supplier to the wholesale market, with a reputation for quality, reliability and value for money. Due to expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Manager to join the business.

**Responsibilities**:

- ERP System - to support and develop the Iptor ERP system including sales and purchase order processing, inventory planning, stock management, warehouse management and system interfaces (EDI, parcel carrier integration, Phocas, document management)
- Project management - to plan and manage IT projects to agreed timescales
- Team management - to guide and mentor a team of 4 in their IT related roles
- Microsoft 365 - to support and guide the development of the Microsoft 365 suite including Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Office suite and other apps to achieve business requirements
- IT infrastructure - to ensure the IT infrastructure and personal devices support business requirements including business continuity
- Management and communication - to report the status of IT systems and IT projects to the company and group management and communicate IT matters to the business

**Knowledge / Experience**:
**Essential**
- Educated to graduate level or a minimum A level or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience of ERP systems
- Proven track record of project management of IT projects
- Good knowledge of IT Infrastructures including connectivity, networks and security
- Ability to work effectively in a high pressure and deadline driven environment
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a thorough and accurate approach to work
- Excellent communication, presentation and organisation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead the IT team
- Resourceful and lateral thinking with a creative approach to tasks
- Drive, ambition and enthusiasm to deliver results and progress within the organisation

**Desirable**
- Experience of IBM iSeries including operating system, CL, RPG, Query and SQL.
- Experience of Microsoft 365
- Experience of Iptor ERP system
