Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a WordPress Developer located in Luton. The WordPress Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites, ensuring they are responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing. Daily tasks will include creating custom themes, implementing plugins, optimizing web performance, and troubleshooting technical issues. The developer will collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure websites align with client objectives and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Front-End Development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Responsive Web Design
  • Strong Back-End Web Development skills, including PHP and database management
  • Experience in Web Design and Web Development, with a focus on user experience and aesthetics
  • Familiarity with WordPress plugins, custom theme development, and website optimization
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team
  • A relevant degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus
