**Credit Controller**

**Salary - £21,500 - £24,000**

**Location - Bexleyheath**

Are you a passionate Credit Controller looking for an exciting new role?

Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Credit Controller to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients.

If you are someone that is energized by connecting people to their passions, then you may be a fit for our Credit Controller position**.**

To achieve this role as Credit Controller you will have a diverse set of responsibilities.

**Principle Responsibilities for the Credit Controller**:

- To monitor all accounts regularly, highlighting outstanding costs and disbursements
- To liaise regularly with fee earners to:

- confirm amounts outstanding;
- to obtain explanations as to delay in settlement; and
- in appropriate cases, to agree a strategy for recovery
- Where appropriate (and with the fee earner's agreement), to make direct contact with clients with a view to securing immediate total payment or regular instalment contributions
- To monitor accounts where an instalment arrangement has been agreed
- To ensure that fee earners are aware of debt recovery procedures and any agreed payment arrangements
- To liaise regularly with fee earners specifically responsible for debt recovery proceedings
- To report to the partners regularly on the costs outstanding to the firm and on the measures being taken to secure payment

**Person specification for the Credit Controller**:

- Methodical and organised approach to work
- Good telephone skills
- Experience/knowledge of the firm's accounting systems - SOS - would be an advantage but training will be given
- Good interpersonal skills
- Accurate filing/administration/record keeping skills
- PC literacy

This is a full time permanent Credit Controller role:
The role is a Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. Salary on offer is basic of £21,500 - £24,000 per annum
