We now have two exciting opportunities to join the Parks Service and shape our volunteering offer. You will have the opportunity to develop how we approach volunteering and support corporate and regular volunteers to contribute their valuable time and help us take care of our 143 parks across the city, and all the fantastic elements within them. This role will include creating and developing high-quality corporate volunteering opportunities which benefit both the park and its participants. You’ll also be working to create regular volunteering opportunities in our green spaces, whilst working in close partnership with Manchester Volunteer Inspire Programme (MCR VIP). There are two roles available: 1 x permanent, based at Heaton Park 1 x temporary (12 month), based across Manchester Parks We would love to hear from you if you are: - Creative, you will work with others to create engaging and helpful opportunities for volunteers to donate their time. - Excellent communicator, you will be able to work alongside and effectively communicate with a wide variety of people and organisations.
