Style Matters is a leading UK manufacturer of **bespoke hospitality furniture**, with over 28 years’ experience producing high-quality banquette seating, fixed seating, and loose furniture for hotels, restaurants, and bars across the UK and internationally. We are looking to expand our team with highly skilled **upholsterers** who have an extensive background in bespoke furniture making and product development.

**The Role**:
This is an exciting opportunity for an **experienced upholsterer** to join our in-house manufacturing team. You will work closely with our product development department to create, prototype, and upholster bespoke furniture pieces, ensuring they meet the highest standards of craftsmanship.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Upholster bespoke fixed seating, banquettes, and loose furniture to client specifications.
- Work with the product development team to create and refine new designs.
- Develop and upholster sample pieces and prototypes.
- Select and work with a wide range of fabrics, leathers, foams, and fillings.
- Ensure all work meets Style Matters’ high-quality standards and deadlines.
- Provide input on construction methods, comfort, and finish to support product innovation.

**Essential Skills & Experience**:
Extensive experience in **bespoke upholstery** (minimum 10+ years).
Strong background in **developing and upholstering custom furniture products**.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Skilled in traditional and modern upholstery methods.
High level of attention to detail and finishing.
Strong problem-solving ability and pride in craftsmanship.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in the hospitality furniture sector.
- Knowledge of frame construction and joinery coordination.
- Ability to lead/mentor junior upholsterers.
