Our client is a leading consultancy within the water industry and they are looking to recruit a LWE Outcome Delivery Lead (ODL).
**LWE OUTCOME DELIVERY LEAD (ODL)**:
PURPOSE &
As the Outcome Delivery Lead, you'll be at the forefront of driving the operational strategy and delivering exceptional results for a portfolio of outcomes within the NWG programme. You'll be empowered to create
conditions that propel success, ensuring that resources are managed effectively to achieve outperformance in your designated investment area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
**Leadership and Performance**
- Inspire Excellence: Lead a dynamic delivery team across the LWE partners, forging strong partnerships that support our ambitious goals and desired outcomes.
- Drive Results: Take ownership of the delivery performance within your designated programme investment area, collaborating with peers to achieve the broader LWE outcomes.
- Engage and Influence: Gather key stakeholders around critical topics through innovative forums and events, ensuring our programmes are aligned with LWE and NWG governance.
**Strategy development and delivery**
- Definition of outcomes; Work with Senior Responsible Owners and Tactical Planning Managers from NWG to clearly define the investment area outcomes to be delivered.
- Strategic Vision: Develop and continuously refine a strategic plan that incorporates best practices, integrates added-value initiatives, and drives cost-effective outcomes in line with values.
- Efficient Delivery: Collaborate with teams in Tactical Planning to design and promote efficient programme delivery, while managing opportunities, risks and maintaining compliance.
- Culture of High Performance: Embed a culture of excellence, continually enhancing processes to improve efficiency and adapt to evolving circumstances.
**Communicating and monitoring value**
- Celebrate Success: Capture, share, and communicate best practices across teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and Evolve: Assess the effectiveness of strategies and metrics, addressing any areas of underperformance promptly.
**Effective stakeholder engagement**:
- Manage high profile stakeholder relationships, ensure stakeholders are well-informed and are supportive of the programme.
**LWE OUTCOME DELIVERY LEAD (ODL)**:
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
**REQUIRED**
Its key you have strong leadership skills with experience in strategic planning and mobilisation of large programmes where there were several stakeholders to consider. You must have excellent communication, stakeholder and critical thinking skills and be able to motivate, inspire and influence those around you. Experience of managing complex programmes, adapting strategies and responding accordingly to emerging issues is required. As an indivdual you will actively seek new ways of working to improve process'.
You will have previously built teams where you have embedded cultural and behavioural expectations.
**BENEFICIAL**
It would be great if you had an understanding of OFWAT and the associated regulatory requirements. Ideally you will possess a Programme Management qualification such as MSP Practitioner and understand project management knowledge areas as detailed in A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) - Fifth Edition.
It would be beneficial if you have experience of generating value beyond cost considerations and understand social and environmental issues, including poverty, inequality, climate change, and human rights.
