FREELANCE WAMITAB - IQA

Waste Training & Consultancy Ltd are seeking WAMITAB Assessors who will play an integral role in our CIWM (WAMITAB) Training Centre.

The IQA Role

As a freelance WAMITAB (RQF) IQA, You will be responsible for a variety of undertakings, including:

- Planning and running stanardisation sessions
- Observing and assessing the RQF assessors in their job role, in a learning environment or remotely using technology.
- Examining portfolios both remotely via electronic e-Portfolio and in person during center visits.
- Interviewing, discussing and questioning assessors and learners.
- Providing feedback: As an IQA, you must be able to provide fair and constructive feedback and advise assessors on how to meet those IQA standards that may be lacking.
- Keeping records: You must be excellent at keeping IQA assessment records, plans and timesheets.
- Working with others: You are required to work closely with people, including assessors, centre staff, and employers.
- Attending meetings: We require our IQA's to meet often for standardisation meetings. You will be asked to participate in standardisation meetings.
- Evaluating: As an IQA, you must be able to evaluate your assessors progress when all requirements are met.

Contract Type

The contract type is - Self Employed - Part Time - Freelance

We will ask you to agree to a Service Level Agreement to provide services to Waste Training & Consultancy Ltd, and you will invoice Waste Training & Consultancy Ltd for your services in line with this contract.

Essential Criteria
- Good communication and organisational skills,
- Good presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- 1 Year minimum IQA experience within the waste industry.
- Relevant CIWM qualifications Held (HROC6, HROC4, HROC1, MROC1 or equivalent preferred).
- Hold an appropriate AInternal Verifier qualification (CAVA, TAQA, V1).
