**Quality Assurance Officer**

Reporting to: Head of Quality Assurance (HoQA)

London Churchill College is committed to delivering excellence in its programmes of study. It seeks year on year to achieve improved performance of students and staff in the classroom to ensure students achieve a ‘value for money’ education and exceptional learning experience and engagement with LCC. In this respect the role is crucial to the key strategic objective LCC going forward to meet specific requirements set by BIS, HEFCE and QAA. Internally, the role is about the _**enhancement **_of learning, teaching and assessment across the provision underpinned by improvement in year-on-year targets.

**The key purposes of the role**:
1. Support the HoQA in preparation and coordination of the processes related to external review and internal audit.

2. Produce and/or update the quality assurance manual annually or whenever required.

3. Ensure implementation of internal and external verification systems.

4. Review and monitor progress on the College action plans (at programme level and at College level) in response to various internal and external reports (such as QAA report, external examiner reports, reports from awarding bodies).

5. Provide commentary on accuracy of data presented in the various reports (such as REP Reports, College AMR) and achievement againsts the KPIs.

6. Comment on various operational manuals describing the processes, policies and procedures.

7. Ensure all policies and procedures are updated annually and final copies are distributed widely to all relevant staff.

8. Perform management checks on the following:
a. HEAPES Return

b. HESA Return

c. Progression and achievement data

d. Timeliness of various deliberate meetings (such as College Oversight Board, Academic Board, Programme Committee, Assessment Board, other deliberate committees).

9. Any other duties as assigned by the HoQA and/or Principal and directors.

11. Salary negotiable depending on experience

**Salary**: From £26,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
