**The role**:
Are you organised, diligent, and ready to support a dynamic legal team whilst having fun? Lonza's legal team is looking for a Legal Administrator to help manage their legal operations in Slough, UK.
Working closely with the internal team, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day administrative operations of the legal department. This role is perfect for someone who is exceptionally organised and has a proven ability to balance multiple tasks flawlessly.
Please note this is a 30-hour-per-week contract and is perfect for anyone wanting a new challenge
**Key responsibilities**:
- Manage signature request process using electronic signature systems such as DocuSign and Adobe, as well as coordinating “wet ink” signatures when necessary. Liaise with the team in Basel as needed.
- Coordinate the contract filing system, ensuring documents are accurately stored on both the local drive and the company-wide global contract database.
- Handle the PO, invoice, and payment process for external law firms and other suppliers as needed, ensuring strict compliance with company policies.
- Arrange travel, including flights, hotels, and taxis, for team members as required.
- Make and implement suggestions for improving team administration and processes, aiming for world-class efficiency.
- Manage storage of and access to legal templates, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Provide general administrative support to the UK legal team, ensuring all operations run efficiently.
**Key requirements**:
- Proven ability to manage workload and work to deadlines effectively.
- Outstanding organisational skills, particularly in staying on top of the contract signature process.
- Friendly outlook with the ability to maintain a sense of humour in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build and maintain good relationships within the team and the wider network of contacts around the business.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in DocuSign, Adobe, SAP, Lonza’s travel management system, other finance and invoice systems, and contract databases.
- Ambitious and determined to successfully implement standard methodologies to compete at the highest level.
