**The Role...**

As a **Learner Support Mentor**, you’ll play a vital role in mentoring and guiding learners through our Skills Bootcamp programmes. You’ll be the first point of contact for learners - providing support, tracking progress, and helping them move towards their digital career goals. You’ll work closely with our delivery team, ensuring every learner receives an outstanding experience.

**What You’ll Be Doing...**
- Carrying out learner onboarding activities such as pre-start calls and initial assessments
- Conducting regular reviews and check-ins to monitor progress and offer support
- Maintaining accurate learner records and notes within our internal systems
- Delivering one-to-one or group online support sessions to learners
- Acting as a mentor, motivator and guide throughout the learner journey
- Supporting with administrative tasks related to learner engagement and progression
- Joining live delivery sessions to check in with learners and gather feedback
- Promoting Althaus’ high standards of service, engagement, and learner care
- Supporting SEND learners and learners who require additional learning support

**What You’ll Bring...**
- Previous experience in a mentoring, coaching or learner support role - ideally within an education, apprenticeship, or bootcamp environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A passion for digital skills and supporting people to succeed in their careers
- Confidence with online systems, Microsoft Office and video conferencing platforms
- A self-motivated and proactive approach to your work

**What to expect during the interview process**:
We want to ensure you’re the right fit for us, and that we’re the right fit for you Our process is designed to be relaxed yet insightful:
**Stage 1**: A 30-minute **Teams** call with our **Chief Operations Officer** - this is all about fit and feel.

**Stage 2**:An in-person interview at our office with our **Head of Delivery** and **Delivery Manager**. This stage will also include a fun and interactive interview activity to showcase your skills in action.

**Please note: This role is office based five days per week at our Derby HQ.**
