The purpose of this role is to work as part of the Recruitment / Onboarding team who are responsible for processing the security and vetting of both internal and external staff, workforce and supply chain for the Hinkley Point C project. This is a very important role as access to site is not provided unless vetting has been completed and full compliance has been met. This a really varied role and duties will include: - Engaging with the relevant stakeholders to ensure an efficient and effective onboarding process - Ensuring governance and compliance are in line with client requirements in relation to qualification and competency checks prior to onboarding staff - Effectively manage the onboarding process from start to finish, ensuring key stakeholders are updated each way of the process to ensure workforce labour plans and resourcing plans can be managed - Accurately updating trackers and completing check list - Ensuring that all data captured is managed sensitively and in line with data protection act - Managing the flow of information across the department which feeds into the audit papers, including the alignment of findings with principal risks and tracking of issues, delivery of audit plan - Ensuring appropriate protocols are followed - Ensuring all issues are escalated where the role and competence evidence do not align - Documenting all processes - Other administration duties required to ensure smooth running of the department The key skills required for this role are: - Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages - especially Excel - High attention to detail and accuracy - Proven administration experience within a fast paced environment - A positive "can-do" attitude This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest projects in Europe that is challenging the industry and making history.
