M&a Programme Manager People

Frazer Jones are partnering with a global media giant to hire a M&A Programme Manager on a permanent basis. The role will be based in central London on a hybrid working basis.
Working as part of the People Team EMEA, the M&A programme manager will manage the end-to-end HR M&A lifecycle for multiple M&A projects on a global scale.
The role partners closely with the Central Deals team, our People Partners People team COEs, Legal, Finance, Corporate Communications, Business Leadership, third parties and other relevant partners to ensure thorough due diligence and commercial contractsupport through target analysis, business case development, deal closure and integration of the acquired business. The role reports directly into the People Experience and Solutions SVP.
**Here you'll get to**:
- Manage all People related matters across the entire deal lifecycle for all global transactions from due diligence to integration
- Lead the HR Due diligence process by partnering with local HR teams and third-party providers to:
- Review seller provided data room documents and conduct seller Q&A to collate quantitative and qualitative data
- Analyse data to identify, assess and quantify HR risk exposure
- Document key risks, issues, and assumptions
- Propose recommendations to deal structure or integration planning
- Develop, own, and coordinate execution of detailed HR integration plan across all transactions, including:
- Track, monitor, action and escalate to ensure the effective meeting of deliverables and milestones
- Estimate and manage HR integration costs
- Provide updates and reporting cadence to key partners on progress across multiple transactions
- Implement sustainable solutions to resolve complex, technical, operational, or organisational challenges across cross functional teams
- Ensure smooth people data integration and people technology transition process, in partnership with the People Analytics and People Technology teams
- Ensure HR workstream compliance; so that each deal is managed in accordance with HR governance, information and consultation and local requirements
- Define, communicate, and advocate HR workstream M&A methodology to manage and deliver the operationalisation and post M&A integration to successfully deliver the M&A integration activity
- Ensure processes and communication are developed, maintained and well known so that plans can be efficiently and effectively updated to reflect M&A priorities
- Maintain effective knowledge of cross functional areas intersecting with the workstream
**About you**:
Proven HR M&A experience managing share and asset transactions globally across the entire deal lifecycle
- Analytical and detailed oriented with a track record of successfully managing multiple complex, regional and global M&A deals simultaneously
- Project management experience - Hands on operator, pragmatic and delivery focused
- Excellent presentation skills, able to articulate complex issues to diverse audience and ensure understanding
- Experience of working in global businesses - demonstrates cultural coherence and understanding of DEI across the HR lifecycle
- Experience of working in matrix organisations
**We'd love it if you also had**:
- Experience with M&A deals in Media and Entertainment, regionally and globally
- Experience working overseas
