We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented, and service-driven **Conference and Banqueting Supervisor** to support the smooth running of events. As a Conference and Banqueting Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing event setups, guiding the team, and ensuring seamless service throughout every function. **Responsibilities will include but are not limited to**: - Supervising the setup and breakdown of conference and banquet events to ensure all details meet client expectations. - Leading and motivating the conference and banqueting team to deliver exceptional service. - Coordinating with the kitchen, bar, and operations teams to ensure smooth event execution. - Acting as a point of contact for clients during events, handling any requests or last-minute changes. - Monitoring service standards, ensuring all team members adhere to hotel procedures and guest expectations. - Training and mentoring staff to enhance service skills and efficiency. - Managing stock levels of event supplies, including linen, tableware, and equipment. - Ensuring all health, safety, and hygiene regulations are met within the event spaces. - The ideal person for this role will be enthusiastic about change, focused on details, and trusting. **The core skills and experience required to succeed**: - Previous experience in a conference, banqueting, or hospitality supervisory role. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively. - Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach. - Ability to oversee multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. - Strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. - Knowledge of food and beverage service, event logistics, and health and safety regulations. - Flexible approach to work, with availability for evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
