As a Power BI Specialist, you'll grasp every opportunity to enhance our reporting across our Sales, Marketing & Connected Workspace sectors. This is an exciting time to join the Central Analytics Team as we continue to support the business in delivering the Science of Service to our customers. You'll work closely with other Power BI Specialists, the Lead Analyst, Head of Analytics, and a growing team of Analysts to develop reports that help provide the best analysis possible for the business.

**The Opportunity**
- Develop informative Power BI dashboards that deliver the highest quality data and insight to drive better decision-making
- Drive the culture of creating fully interactive dashboards, rich with data analysis and visually compelling stories
- Deliver efficiency through design and adoption of standards
- Work closely with a skilled team of Data Engineers to optimise data structures
- Develop the wider team knowledge of the latest Power BI updates and capabilities
- Support the creation of a forum that shares ideas and knowledge to build the team reputation across the business
- Manage and optimise processes for data modelling, visualisation, and all other team deliverables
- Support and drive engagement to nurture cross functional working and projects
- Drive a continuous improvement approach
- Document any dashboards produced with written reports that can be understood by audiences varying from technical peers through to end-users

**What we're looking for**:

- Strong experience of using Microsoft Power Bl, Power Query and DAX
- Proven track record of delivering value adding analytical/Bl projects with at least 3 years' experience in similar roles
- Understanding of data language, SQL or similar preferred
- Ability to understand business requirements and transform these ensuring the product delivered is relevant
- Specialist analytics skills including modelling, data preparation, visual analytics, etc
- Good analysis skills to produce practical solutions to a range of problems
- Have a natural affinity and passion for data and analytics and how this can help the wider business succeed
- Experience of working with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels in the business, building relationships, working collaboratively, and influencing decisions
- Ability to prioritise conflicting priorities and work under pressure to deliver projects on time, to a high level of quality and accuracy, with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills. Someone who can identify issues, be pragmatic, propose solutions and think beyond your day-to-day remit
- Experience with Python (Pandas, Matplotlib) or R is advantageous but not essential
