Insight Partner

**About the role**

The Insight Partner role is central to IGDs ambition to ensure data is at the heart of our internal decision making.

You will partner with business stakeholders to embed insight into product development and pillar strategy, and to develop enhanced audience understanding that will inform our growth agenda.

You will be commercially minded, with strong capabilities in project management and delivery, and adept at managing stakeholders of all levels. The Insight Partner will own the insight delivery plan for the Commercial Insight and Social Impact parts of thebusiness; creating, project managing and delivering insight that will drive value for IGD.

You will work closely alongside your Senior Data Analyst to generate and develop appropriate insights, and will act as a ’go to’ trusted advisor to your business stakeholders.

**The responsibilities**

**Project Delivery and Stakeholder Engagement**

The Insight Partner will identify, define, project manage and evolve the data products and insights for the IGD business, such as: BI Reporting, Engagement KPIs, Customer Sentiment, Brand Perception.

You will identify and oversee management of first and third party research projects that will enhance proposition development or generate new customer insights.

You will proactively partner with the business to embed insight into actionable business plans with clear objectives, that are measured. You will identify new opportunities, and improvements to existing solutions and ways of working.

You will work with the wider team to manage prioritisation and scheduling in line with the OneIGD data strategy and identified business value

You will help embed new project management processes and quality standards to ensure excellence in delivery, and will embed a measurement culture that seeks to capture the business impact of all output.

**Data Literacy and Business Engagement**

The Insight Partner will ensure a regular rhythm of insight delivery for key stakeholders and the wider business. You will ensure that data and insights are embedded in our ways of working and will help inspire and lead a culture of grounded curiosity, andpassion for a data led approach.

You will support the Head of Insight Partnering in driving a step change in data literacy across the organisation, helping to deliver a program that will deliver training, and build organisational confidence and use of data insights.

**What you bring**

**Skills**
- Experienced in a commercial data or insight role
- Project management and delivery, preferably with a consultancy background
- Knowledge of the grocery industry, or aptitude to learn
- A passion for data, analytically minded, commercial and numerate
- Microsoft Word, Survey design and analysis
- Familiar with a wide range of business intelligence and analytics tools

**Desired behaviours**
- You’ll have natural curiosity and a customer focused approach to problem solving
- You will have a demonstrable passion for data and insight, and will be able to engage others
- Articulate, able to communicate concepts and ideas as well as tangible outputs
- Relevant experience preferably within a retailer, manufacturer, consultancy or industry body
- Well organised, with a focus on driving results

We are operating a hybrid approach to working with a mix of home and office-based working. We are based in a very accessible location within the M25, just 20 miles from central London.
