Head Housekeeper

**The King's Arms** is a beautiful boutique hotel in the centre of Dorchester, part of **Stay Original Co**. We are looking for working **Head Housekeeper** to join our friendly team.

As the **Head Housekeeper**, you will be responsible for the management of a busy housekeeping department with 28 beautiful hotel rooms. Maximising the performance of your team, leading by example and setting high standards to ensure the service is operated safely, hygienically and to contractual specification.

Your duties will include:

- Being the first point of call for room standards by the General Manager and Group Room Manager,
- Supporting the housekeeping team with ongoing training,
- Organising, assisting and leading the housekeeping team to meet their daily targets,
- Complying with all company health and safety, policies and recording any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents or injuries,
- Managing rota and making sure staff levels fit to the business needs,
- Controlling linen levels and reporting if any issues,
- Preparing order requests for cleaning products, disposables and room amenities,
- To be “hands-on” and clean rooms, public areas if necessary as a part of the role.

You will have:

- Understanding of rotas, schedules and good time management skills.
- A high level of attention to detail and demonstrate high levels of quality.
- A hands on approach and will lead from the front and by example.
- Flexible working hours, including weekends depending on business needs but no evening shifts.
- Self-starter qualities, be ambitious, passionate with good leadership skills.

**Salary**: £24,960.00-£32,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
