Internal Sales Executive

Our client based in Pangbourne is seeking a Internal Sales Executive to join their team.
This role would suit someone with strong customer service experience who is seeking an opportunity to develop in the next step in their sales career.
**The main role objectives are**:
- Generate new business opportunities for the sales team by booking face to face meetings, video calls and telephone appointments with potential customers
- Create opportunity within the base of customers by proactively contacting the base and building relationships
- Support of the Sales Director, create and own a sales progression plan with the objective of progressing to a field based role.
**Day to day Objectives**:
- Achieve agreed KPI's based around calls made/call time and appointments booked
- Maintain and build a pipeline of sales prospects through networking, LinkedIn, customer recommendations and cold calling
- Maintain a good understanding at all times of product set, and take ownership of improving knowledge
- Build strong relationships with the existing customer base allowing the business to increase our customer wallet share
- Be responsible for ongoing marketing messages and content to be sent to the customer base
- Own existing customer issues where appropriate, and ensure the support team are managing these issues accordingly
- Work closely with the Sales Director to create new target customer lists, sales pitches and proposals
- Post valuable content to social media accounts
- Attend face to face networking events where appropriate
- Attend customer meetings where required
**Person Specification**
- Must be able to demonstrate strong sales skills
- You will have excellent sales, communication, and time management skills.
- You will be able to manage your own workload, prioritise tasks, multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Ability to respond efficiently to high pressure situations
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Good computer skills - including Excel, Word, Office, CRM
