**Reception Team Leader**

**Salary Cira for FTE **£19,000.00 - £21,000.00 per year

**Hours **25 - 37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Grove House Practice, for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to lead and support our reception team.

This interesting and challenging role provides direct support to, and works closely with, the Deputy Operational Practice Manager. It is a flexible position that requires multiple skills to support the Team to deliver a consistent, good quality service to internal and external customers and will drive continuous improvement. The role will involve sharing knowledge, disseminating information, checking colleagues understanding, monitoring, analysing and reporting on performance and services.

This is a permanent salaried position (covering between 25 to 37.5 hours per week), working in partnership with another reception team leader, to drive team performance.

**Responsibilities (full Job description upon request)**
- To act as a role model, demonstrating and promoting the standards expected by the practice.
- Motivate and inspire the team, creating energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude for the service and promoting good staff relations
- Supervise Team cover to ensure delivery of an effective service
- Be flexible in the hours they work to ensure the business hours always have supervisory cover and assist in reception area cover as and when require providing timely and accurate patient services in a professional, consistent and appropriate manner
- Manage effective training, supervise, and assist the receptionists in their performance of a variety of administrative duties o Use coaching methods that provide an environment that is participatory, supportive and provides constructive feedback on performance.
