**Lomax Training Services Limited is looking for a Sales & Planning Officer to join our team in Howdon.**

The Sales & Planning Officer is responsible for the sales process from prospecting to closing of new business. This includes but is not limited to:

- Work with the training manager on planning in work and staff cover for courses.
- Promote courses through networking, telephone/cold calling and social media.
- Processing delegate assessment paperwork for certification and liaise with awarding bodies regarding any queries.
- Ensure delegates who attend courses have the correct qualifications to undertake any courses they require and obtaining copies of certificates/Gas Safe cards to meet the rules of the scheme.
- Ensure all steps of the booking process are met when old and new customers book training, by preparing booking forms for admin to raise confirmation and finance to raise invoice.
- Ensure all assessment paperwork is up-to-date with the correct version being used by staff and relay any changes to paperwork to all assessment staff via standardisation meetings.
- Ensure all CPD paperwork is completed by assessment staff.
- Ensure assessor observations have been carried out by IV in-line with assessment plans.
- Be available to attend EV visits and meetings when necessary.
- Ensure all assessment staff qualifications are up-to-date and when required, arrange staff to renew at external training provider.
- Prepare paperwork where necessary for trainers and consultants and liaise with all staff involved to ensure courses run smoothly.
- Carry out Information, Advice & Guidance sessions for new funded courses.
- Ensure all funding knowledge is up-to-date to advise old and new customers on eligibility.
- To be able to take control of social media and Lomax Training's website, posting upcoming course's and responding to enquiries.

**Required Skills**:

- Telephone experience essential
- Industry knowledge desirable

**Salary**: From £22,000.00 per year
