IT Trainer home / City to £70,000

Leading Insurance Organisation based in the city have a new role for an experienced IT Trainer

Training Design and Delivery
- Assist IT colleagues, department heads and line managers in the identification of training and development needs
- Seek to measure the effectiveness of training and development in terms of reaction, learning and impact on the commercial success of the company
- Write new training materials to improve the learning process which will include creating video content and e-learning.
- Delivering 1:1 workshops and classroom training both in person and online
- Creating and updating training materials, support guides and training outlines
- Assisting upgrading training materials and course guides to reflect system upgrades and changes
- Working alongside the IT Support and Document Services teams to on any escalated issues requiring training
- An IT Trainer with a background in supporting the roll out of IT Software projects and raising team members technical ability.
- Able to write bespoke training for in house core systems and that assist business requirements
- Sound technical knowledge, particularly in-depth knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365 with experience of collaboration using tools such as OneDrive, SharePoint etc.

Person Specification
- Solid experience in a training position
- Proven experience of delivering training sessions and courses to individuals at all levels of seniority, using a variety of methods.
- Experience of working within the insurance industry is highly desirable
- CIPD qualified is desirable
- Competent at Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and presentation skills and time management skills
- Has proven planning and prioritising skills
- Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and focus
- Able to demonstrate problem solving skills
- Results orientated
- Is aware of own personal development and contributes towards it
- Be a self-starter, able to think outside the box and research an issue
- Eligibility to work in the UK
