A listed global market leading technology business are looking for a senior level Group Financial Controller to drive change and deliver best practice within a global group looking to transform their back office. The Group Financial Controller will be responsiblefor the timely production of all internal and external financial reporting, global financial policies, processes, and control, and will play a key role in the finance leadership team to deliver on the finance transformation, which includes the implementationof a new global ERP system, new target operating model, significant process efficiencies and enhanced control environment.

This is a fully rounded Group Financial Controller role covering all aspects of controllership and reporting for a listed PLC.

Key Responsibilities:
Group Financial Accounting and External Reporting
- Lead monthly internal reporting, consolidation and timely and accurate delivery of all group financial reporting requirements.
- Liaise with SSC teams, Divisional Finance teams and Group FP&A to ensure the timely submission and accuracy of all divisional and management reporting packs.
- Produce Group Consolidation and group reporting pack to include balance sheet and variance analysis as required.
- Manage the annual external audit and support all external financial filing requirements
- Support the Board, Investor Relations and Company Secretary through the provision of key financial information and analysis and corporate governance documentation. Deliver CFO and Audit Committee reports and presentations and assist in shareholder and analystqueries.

Global Financial Policies, Processes and Controls
- Maintain Group policies, ensuring they are up to date, efficient and effective.
- Lead the development and roll out of Group accounting policies and the evaluation of new accounting standards.
- Ongoing development of the Group's control environment, setup of new controls team, implementation of new global control framework across the Group, with enhanced process documentation, training and reporting
- Drive continuous process improvement projects to provide more insightful and accurate reporting whilst also significantly reducing reporting timescales
- Support internal audit activity as required

Group Financial Systems
- Functional owner for the development, implementation and ongoing improvements of the new global ERP system to deliver more efficient processes, stronger financial controls and enhanced outputs

Treasury
- Management of all bank relationships, arrangement of lending facilities, covenant compliance, hedging, and full long term and short term cashflow management
- Propose and implement optimized funding structures for acquisitions.

Other
- Deliver on the Target Operating Model objectives
- Establish and embed routine procedures and financial controls for acquisitions and disposals,
- Assist with Tax and other treasury matters including managing transfer pricing processes and legal entity rationalisation, as necessary.
- Lead, develop and enhance the Group finance team.

Qualities and Experience
- ACA qualified preferably gained with a leading international accountancy practice.
- Experience of working for multinational FTSE / listed companies within a senior finance capacity
- Proven leadership skills within a group finance function
- Good written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to reason, persuade and influence effectively.
- Experience of different finance systems, ideally Hyperion / HFM and D365
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels demonstrating commercial awareness and common sense.
