THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners is delighted to be partnered with a Private Equity backed SaaS business based in London. The company is a specialist in automation software, with a broad product suite and is considered a leader in their vertical. They are now at start ofa new investment cycle with a leading international private equity firm and are planning to add a number of strategic acquisitions. They are seeking a Group Financial Controller (number 2 in finance) to support the CFO as the business continues to scale. Thisrole will play a vital part in establishing first class financial frameworks and robust controls as the number of entities increases. The Group Financial Controller will also help to build a best-in-class finance function and contribute on all transactionactivity. This will suit an established finance leader with software/SaaS exposure.

THE ROLE:

- Day-to-today oversight and management of the finance team as it continues to scale
- Ensuring robust financial controls and frameworks are in place that can stand up to growth
- Presenting insightful MI, analysis and financial information to the CFO and investors
- Full ownership of the close process for the group ensuring the month is closed in a timely manner.
- Preparation of multi-currency consolidation of the group P&L and Balance sheet
- Implementation and continuous improvement of the management accounts pack to support the business growth and complexity.
- Strong balance sheet control ensuring all account and reconciled and reviewed monthly.
- Preparation and submission of UK year end statutory accounts
- Working with our accountants for submission of year end corporation tax returns
- Reviewing and ensuring the financial accounting for the group ensuring the correct treatment of items regarding revenue, intercompany and share options.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

- Software/SaaS experience
- Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Ideally from an audit/practice background
- Experience in working for a high growth organisation is highly beneficial
- International entity exposure is beneficial
