Buteline UK Ltd’s Warehouse assistant is responsible for stock, receipt, storage, assembly & timely despatch of goods, together whilst assisting the Warehouse Manager with management of the company’s buildings.

**Nature and scope of Position**:
The warehouse assistant reports to the Warehouse Manager and the UK General manager.

The position’s primary function is to assist the Warehouse Manager in all duties relating to the fulfilment of orders and deliveries, which includes: Product Assembly, Packaging & Labelling, the timely delivery of products to our customers premises or sites when required, ensuring that delivery trucks are accurately and punctually loaded, maintaining product quality, goods inwards, maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse and all buildings, assisting in the maintenance of accurate records of warehouse inventory and supplies. The Warehouse Assistant should become knowledgeable of all the work place disciplines required to deputise in an effective manner whenever the Warehouse Manager is absent.

The position requires strong organisational skills and self-discipline. The ability to effectively interact with the Buteline team, command the respect of other workers is crucial to creation of an on-going positive and productive work environment. Prior experience in fulfilment and warehouse work, including stock control and distribution is mandatory.

**Primary Functions and Tasks**:
Understanding and implementing all Buteline systems and procedures
- Product Assembly
- Packaging & Labelling of Product;
- To carry out when necessary the timely delivery of products to our customers premises or sites (which in order to fulfil our customer requirements may need to be facilitated outside of your normal working hours)
- All Aspects Stock Control incorporating the use of any automated and computerised systems.
- Assist in all aspects of company logistic procedures incorporating Courier Companies & Freight Forwarders.
- Assisting with customers who collect from the premises.
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse inventory inline with the Warehouse Managers requirements and keep discrepancies to a minimum.
- Ensuring the health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment at all times
- Assisting the Warehouse Manager in the planned maintenance of all company vehicles, buildings, machinery and equipment.
- During quiet periods, assisting with any general office duties that the office manager may require
- Facilitate positive and productive work environment at all times whilst being part of the Companies Team.

As Buteline UK Ltd is a young dynamic and progressive company so the Warehouse Assistant will be required to assist other team members with a variety of duties that may fall outside of the above primary functions.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year

- Warehouse experience: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
