**UKI Express** has an exciting opportunity for a **Senior Stock Controller **to join our team based in **Skelmersdale, Lancashire **on a full time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a **competitive salary of £20,000 - £30,000 per annum dependant on experience plus benefits.**

We are a well-established multisite company base in Skelmersdale Lancashire. We have over 250,000 sq. ft of warehousing space with stock movements of over 260,000 pallets per annum. Each movement is controlled by a modern warehouse management system (WMS)Prosku.

With a large client base across multiple sectors the stock control will be required to work under pressure to control stock movements in and out of the warehouses, traceability reports, liaise directly with clients and complete quarterly stock checks withclients.

**In return as our Senior Stock Controller you will receive**:

**Our European Senior Stock Controller duties and key responsibilities include**:

- Managing and controlling all warehouse stock on and off-site
- Reconciling all company stock and performing regular checks to verify the accuracy of the stock records
- Liaising with production and ensuring that stock is checked and booked correctly
- Confidently interacting with all departments, including sales, to ensure efficiency and transparency
- Proactively regulate all stock entering and leaving the site and effectively manage the Warehouse to minimise stock wastage
- To utilise stock holding capacity efficiently, ensuring third-party warehousing is used only as a last resort

- Ability to prioritise workload, with excellent time management skills
- The ability to work on own initiative and within a team
- Good at problem-solving with an eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills

- A forklift truck licence holder (ideal but not necessary)
