With a reputation for quality and excellence, we continually strive to develop our brand and believe that great people are at the heart of business success We are looking for a Senior Electrical Designer to join our design team to support and lead the Electrical Design Department. **Areas of the job include**: Supervising and supporting the Electrical Team Taking the lead on electrical projects The creation of Single Line Diagrams (SLD's) Preparing technical specifications and selecting electrical equipment for the project Understanding an Earthing Design Creating a substation design Creating cable calculations and schedules Creating a Designers Risk Assessment Creating a SCADA design Working with a communication networks (such as Fibre Optics) **Here's what we need from you**: A "people" person with supervisory experience Experience of managing projects Have strong IT and Microsoft skills Experience of ICP's/DNO's Experience of Voltage Ranges of up to 132KV An understanding of a BESS and Solar site Experienced in substation design Knowledge of ENA/BS/IEC/G81 standards Knowledge of cable design Experience in earthing designs & systems An understanding of fibre optic network design Commercial awareness ICP or DNO background Fibre optic networking experience Experience in Primary and Secondary Design **What will you get in return**?
