**Senior Software Developer (Cloud)**

As a Senior Software Developer, you will leverage your experience and expertise to motivate, coach, inspire and support your colleagues, working collaboratively as part of an agile delivery team.

**What you would do as our Senior Software Developer (Cloud)**

We are starting a greenfield project where you will work throughout our portfolio and tech stack from UI, mobile apps, APIs and backend services in an empowered SCRUM team and Agile environment, dividing your time between hands on development and seniordeveloper responsibilities.

You will work closely with your senior developer colleagues and software development management team to continually review and refine our ways of working, injecting your experience and expertise to allow us to mature, accelerate and evolve all aspects ofour SDLC.

You would also:

- Gain a strong understanding of Traka’s products, solutions and services.
- Design, develop, deploy and maintain modular cloud-based solutions in accordance with best practices.
- Design, build and maintain high quality, secure, scalable, optimised, testable and reusable code.
- Build a high-performance team by inspiring, unblocking, openly communicating, embedding trust and exercising agile values.
- Be passionate about agile software development, sharing our vision for quality in our work, collaborative working and empowerment.
- Provide deep product support, technical leadership and insights in order to enable smooth workflow within the team.
- Translate user stories and requirements into functional software deliverables.
- Have input into and collaborate on architectural and design decisions.
- Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
- Collaborate and align with your peers and Traka group organisations relating to ways of working, tools and processes.
- Share your experience and expertise to refine and improve our ways of working.
- Support and guide the team with the technical implementation on key projects.

As this is a greenfield project, we have established a baseline set of technologies and we are always looking to innovate and use the best tools for the task at hand.

Currently our tech stack includes.NET 6, C# 10, C4 Model, AWS, Docker, Linux, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, AWS IoT, React, Flutter, MAUI, AWS CDK, Terraform and DataDog.

You can expect to join a professional, dynamic, and friendly team. Our offices are based in Olney (near Milton Keynes) and some of our staff also work remotely; we’re flexible around working arrangements, so the choice is yours.

**The skills and experience you need**

We are looking for someone who:

- Has a proven track record of delivering complex cloud software solutions.
- Is highly experienced with C# and.NET.
- Is comfortable working in across the stack (a full stack developer).
- Has strong technical experience and expertise.
- Is a natural problem solver with an analytical and methodical approach.
- Has a thorough understanding and applied experience of SOLID principals.
- Shows excellent teamworking and communication skills.
- Is analytical, pragmatic and resourceful, and enthusiastic to get under the skin of what our products are, how they work and the benefits they provide for our customers.
- Is friendly and hungry for acquiring new knowledge and building great products.

Finally, we would be delighted if you can offer any experience with:

- Mobile app development (React Native, Flutter, Xamarin/MAUI, etc).
- Experience with highly scalable database platforms.
- Experience working in a DevOps environment.
- Experience with any other languages and frameworks.
