Accounts Payable Advisor

**The Role**

**Accounts Payable Analyst - Aberdeen**

The VFF function covers a wide range of services from data entry, bank reconciliation and bill payments; to cash flow forecasting, tax compliance and strategic planning. This is a great opportunity to gain knowledge of different types of businesses and sectors.

Purpose of the role/key responsibilities:

- Processing purchase invoices
- Posting VAT
- Process employee expense claims
- Process payment runs
- Maintain supplier master data
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Resolve supplier invoice queries
- Manage client mailboxes
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.

Experience and skill set required for the role:

- Previous experience in Accounts Payable and exposure of supporting multiple clients
- VAT posting knowledge
- Knowledge of Xero and MS Dynamics is desirable
- Ability to work with different accounting systems and software
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication skills - both written and oral
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines
- Self-motivated, with an ability to develop ideas into practice
