Due to our growing aftersales business we need an additional team member

Joining the Hills Ford team as a Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for all of our car, van and motorhome service department customers, ensuring they are provided with first class customer service and care throughout their visit.

**Previous motor trade experience NOT necessary - Customer care experience and a 'Can do' attitude is however essential**

This role involves taking telephone enquiries and bookings, scheduling work on customer vehicles, invoicing of repairs, providing accurate estimates for servicing, repairs and ensuring the customer is fully aware of likely timescales and costs.

You will also be encouraged to promote the sale of genuine parts and accessories whenever possible, acting on opportunities to sell additional products/services and market current promotions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Meet and greet customers, qualify work, and identify customer's additional needs at vehicle drop-off
- Efficiently manage customer communication through repairs with timely progress updates and gaining authorisation for additional work.
- To discuss and up-sell additional work to the customer, where appropriate.
- Be transparent and conduct efficient handovers fully explaining repairs and invoices for customers

**Skills & Experience required for the job**:

- Excellent customer care and communication skill
- Have high levels of attention to detail
- To ensure that all company policies and procedures applicable to their area of responsibility are adhered to at all times.
- Prompts and responds to different ways of working in the face of changing situations.
- Disciplined Work Approach
- Tackles tasks in a structured systematic manner, ensuring completion to plan and to quality standards.

Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm / 8.30am - 6.30pm (6pm on Fridays) alternate weeks with a 1 hour lunch break and Saturdays 8.00am to 4pm on rota 1 in 8

Pay: £23,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
