Purpose of the role

To increase the profitability of shops through, generation, efficient collection, distribution and transfer of stock (donated and new goods) by accompanying them in transit between shop locations. To be an ambassador for Octavia, supporting and endorsing the cultural aims of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Administration
- Check data entered on EPR Touch and make corrections where necessary
- Raise Purchase Orders and receipt Purchase Orders on Compleat
- Entering Sick Dates on iTrent
- Collating and scheduling Driver collections
- Ad hoc tasks
- Comply with Octavia policy in the completion and submission of documents relevant to the role e.g. accurate stock movement records collections and deliveries
- Use the technology available for reporting and communication

Working with others
- Maintain regular communication with the Area Manager and the Shop Driver.
- Build and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships Octavia Housing staff, shop teams and external supporters
- Provide excellent customer service to all users of the service available to donors through house collections, collections from corporate, businesses, customers and shop teams
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required
- Support the effective sharing resource, including vans and equipment as required
- Be willing to work additional hours and to perform any additional duties as and when required in the business, this may involve working some weekends

**Experience**:

- Experience using a variety of database software packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
- Experience using Eproductive
- Experience using Compleat
- Experience using iTrent

Knowledge:
Knowledge of and interest in Retail and the Charity sector

Qualifications/Skills
- Strong team working and communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Flexible attitude and adaptable to change
- Ability to work independently, using own initiative
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Ability to drive safely and confidently, in unfamiliar areas
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Good time management and prioritisation skills
- Ability to use own initiative
