**Role Description**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the EMEA Documentation Team for an AVP / band 5 level role, based in Chester.

The Derivatives Confirmation team are seeking a professional individual to act as a team lead within a space that covers a variety of processes: review counterparty queries on legal language used in documentation for a variety of Equity Derivatives products, negotiate Master Confirmation Agreements for Equity Derivatives and back-to-front Confirmation process for Commodity Derivatives while partnering with Sales, Trading, Legal, and any other relevant internal stakeholders based across the globe.

**Responsibilities**
- Act as a Team Lead within the derivatives confirmation space.
- Mitigate operational risk by demonstrating excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrate business acumen and the ability to liaise competently with internal partners and escalate when appropriate
- Strive to exceed all regulatory and internal target metrics
- Communicating effectively with internal and external partners in order to build productive working relationships
- Capture RCA (Root Cause Analysis) data to identify process enhancements and/or improved controls
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in the market, regulatory and internal business environment

**The Team**:
The Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (FICC) & Derivative Core Operations (FDCO) team perform end to end trade control, confirmation and settlements processes across FICC businesses and provides utility OTC derivative confirmation and settlement services for non FICC businesses.

Within FDCO, the teams provide multiple services such as FICC trade control, Foreign Exchange (FX) electronic matching and settlement, Over the Counter (OTC) derivative confirmation and settlement, and commodities operations.

- Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy levels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident personality to deal with people of different levels of seniority internally and externally
- Experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Equity or Commodity Derivatives and relevant ISDA Definitions is preferred but not essential
