JscottDesign Ltd specialise in the design & manufacture of high precision wax & ceramic injection mould tooling & fixturing for the investment casting industry. The tooling we design & manufacture predominantly produces components used in Aero & IGT gasturbines. We have a global customer base, supplying here in the UK but also exporting to North America, Europe & Asia. As the aerospace market starts to recover post covid19 we are looking to add & strengthen our team to meet demands of our current customerbase but also offer extra capacity as we gain new customers. **About You...**

We are seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our CAD/CAM team. You will be required to generate 2 & 3 axis machining strategies using offline CAM software and running them on our Hurco VMC's. Additionally, you will be in charge of settingup the components you are machining. Your time will be split between the CAD office & the shop floor. You will have your own desk & PC in the CAD office and also a bench on the shopfloor to house your tools. You will be working with highly skilled engineerswho will help & support you as you settle into the role. We work as a team and support each other.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS**
- 3 Years minimum experience using offline CAM software
- 5 Years minimum experience in a toolroom environment
- Milling, Turning, Grinding, Bench Fitting
- Experience setting Hurco VMC's and using Winmax controls
- Punctual
- Happy to work in a team under instruction or alone
- Be flexible & willing to learn new methods of manufacturing as well as sharing experience
- Experience in cutting different materials such as Aluminium, Steel(s), Brass, Model Board, Graphite, Copper

**NON-ESSENTIAL BUT PREFFERED REQUIREMENTS**
- Experience using OneCNC XR7 CAM software
- Experience using Fusion 360 CAM software
- Experience using NCG CAM software
- Experience using HyperMill software
- Experience of machining / assembling investment casting tooling, including wax injection tooling, ceramic core tooling, wax & ceramic core reformers, chill & runner tooling, all associated fixturing for wax, core & cast processes within the investment castingsector.
- Experience in using Sodick EDM (AG60L)
- Experience in die fitting & polishing (to mirror finish)
- Experience using XYZ Proturn lathe

£35,568 - £46,453 per annum (+overtime, paid at time & third)) - negotiable depenant on experience & perfomance.
