Are you an experienced CNC Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator looking for your next opportunity?We’re working with a well-established and thriving sub-contract machine shop in the Halesowen area, West Midlands, who are seeking a skilled machinist to join their friendly and supportive team.This is a permanent, full-time position offering an excellent working environment, long-term stability, and the chance to work on a diverse range of projects – from aerospace parts to heritage steam engine components.The RoleAs a CNC Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator, you will:Programme, set and operate CNC vertical milling machines to run efficientlyProduce accurate CNC programs using OneCNC CAD/CAM XR6 softwareWork from both metric and imperial engineering drawingsSet machines for operators and help support their developmentMachine your own jigs and fixtures as requiredContribute to process improvements and continuous development within the machining cellWhat We’re Looking ForApprentice-trained or with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar roleSkilled in setting and programming Haas and Dai-Lih VMCs (Fanuc controls)Solid background in precision manufacturingStrong communicator with a positive, flexible, “can-do” attitudeAbility to meet deadlines, adapt to new technology, and drive best practiceHours & Pay40 hours per week (Monday–Friday)Shift pattern: 6am–2pm or 7am–3pmOccasional Saturday work may be requiredHourly rate: £18 – £22 (DOE)BenefitsCompany pensionFree on-site parkingOvertime availableIf you’re a motivated CNC professional who enjoys working in a collaborative and successful environment, this could be the perfect next step in your career.For more details or to apply, please get in touch today
