Vaccine Clinical Scientist

12 month contract

41.00 - 46 per hour

Remote working

Cpl Life Sciences are currently recruiting for Clinical Scientists to support our client on the further development of their Vaccinations.

The main purpose of the Vaccine Clinical Scientist is to provide medical, scientific and project support for multiple and global Phase 1-4 clinical studies. Data review and Data Management is also a large part of this role so experience in this is a necessity.

Key responsibilities will include;
Provide support to the Clinical Program Lead and Lead Study Clinician in developing study strategies for the clinical plans

Safety reviews and communication

Data review and data management, the use of excel

Support with study and design of data collection tools, data analysis and database set ups

Create training materials including site management, medical, protocol

Complete clinical sections of the site reference manual

Prepare and review Regulatory documents and study reports

Ensure regulatory compliance and GCP adherence for medical/ scientific issues

Review of patient level data across a study

Support with study analysis and decision point preparation

Adverse events

Protocol amendments

Support with submissions

Track, reconcile and report SAEs

Ensure communication of safety issues is raised

Provide scientific/ medical input, review and editing of clinical study reports

Maintain study timelines

Experience/ Qualifications

Vaccine experience

Data Management and Data input

Excellent Excel

Pharmaceutical or medical experience

Qualified to a degree level

This role involves supporting globally so some evening and weekend overtime may be required on rare occasions, notice will be provided in advance.
