Our client in East London is looking to appoint a Vaccine Outreach Co-ordinator to work as part of the Public Health team to support increased take up of the COVID-19 vaccine for everyone in the borough.

In this role you will report to the Lead Public Health Strategist responsible for COVID-19 vaccinations. You will

be responsible for supporting projects addressing COVID-19 vaccine take-up and providing robust programme and project management support and assurance to senior management.

Some key responsibilities:
1. Plan and manage the vaccination pop-up clinic and outreach team schedules and forward plan, including identifying possible new locations and partners.
2. Co-ordinate operations for COVID-19 vaccination outreach delivery - and take action when others are not resourced to do so.
3. Analyse data trends to help identify locations for new clinics, impact and inform on-going delivery plan.
4. Identify programme activities and steps required to reduce health inequalities and deliver target outcomes.
5. Manage the local online booking system
6. Engage with internal stakeholders to utilise and connect with Council services to deliver programme activities and identify opportunities for activity
7. Engage with residents and key community leads to review current programme activities, reduce health inequalities and encourage any new opportunities for collaboration
8. Work closely with the Outreach Vaccination Clinic Site Manager, Outreach Team Team Leads, Health Promotion Officer, clinical teams and other associated staff.

This role would suit someone with experience of working within a multi-agency and multi-team environment and has a demonstrable track record of delivering results on time, to a high quality and to budget.

This assignment is set for an initial period of 3 months and the pay rate is £20/hour umbrella.
