Part Time Customs Agent

Imperial Personnel are looking for Customs Agents to join our client in Worksop on a part-time basis. This is weekend only work and our client is a leading customers broker and specialise in handling customs formalities to ensure businesses can focus on growing across international markets and ensure smooth trade between the UK and EU post Brexit.
You will be responsible for ensuring customs declarations are completed on time and in full to allow goods to move.
- Please Note: Full training for this role will be Monday - Friday (up to 4 weeks)._
**Duties**:
- Preparation and completion of customs entries for imports and exports.
- To accurately input data.
- Responding to any customer queries such as commodity codes, duty rates, documentation and licences.
- Ensuring the calculation of duty and VAT is accurately reflected in the entry acceptance.
- Maintaining alignment evolving and current customs and legislation procedures.
**Working Hours and Pay**:
Week 1: Sat
- Sun 06:00 - 14:30
Week 2: Sat - Sun 14:00 - 22:30
£9,400 (£23,000 Full time equivalent)
- Salary to change in the future to reflect changes to upcoming increases to living wage._
**Requirements**:
- It Literate and skilful using MS Office.
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Any Customs and Logistics knowledge would be advantageous.
