At Saint Catherine's Hospice, our growing retail operation is a vital part of how we fund our care. With more valuable donations now being channelled into our online platforms, we're recruiting a proactive and organised Ecommerce Assistant to support our Ecommerce Manager in driving income from online sales - and helping us reach even more people in need.

This is a brand-new role at an exciting time for the team. Based at our newly opened Donation Centre, you'll work alongside dedicated staff and volunteers to build on the early success of our ecommerce activity across platforms like eBay and Vinted.

**Role Purpose**

To help deliver income growth through effective online trading, ensuring donated goods are listed, sold, and dispatched efficiently. You'll contribute to the smooth running of our ecommerce function and support volunteers in a dynamic, retail-driven environment that plays a key strategic role in the future of Saint Catherine's Hospice.

**Key Responsibilities**

As our Ecommerce Assistant, you'll play a hands-on role in helping us grow our online retail income. Working closely with the Ecommerce Manager and a team of fantastic volunteers, you'll:

- List and sell donated items across platforms like eBay and Vinted, using great photography and accurate descriptions to showcase products.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders, ensuring customers receive a smooth and positive experience from purchase to delivery.
- Work with volunteers, offering support, training, and encouragement so they can confidently contribute to the online sales process.
- Identify standout donations and help us make the most of high-value or collectible items.
- Support innovation and growth, exploring new online platforms and contributing ideas to help improve how we work.
- You'll be part of a small team, with the opportunity to support how we shape how our ecommerce operations

**What We're Looking For**
- Experience with ecommerce platforms (especially eBay and Vinted) is desirable.
- A good eye for detail and strong photography and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- A friendly, positive attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively.
- An appreciation for the contribution of volunteers, and the ability to support and motivate them.
