**About the role**

We’re searching for a **Technical Assistant **to join our friendly and hard-working team at A2Dominion. As a Technical Assistant within the wider Partnering Team, you will provide support to the technical team, you will engage with contractors, consultants directly as well as build networks with partners internally and externally to ensure that a programme of works is reported in the most accurate format.

You will be responsible for supporting the Technical Team on a day-to-day basis with relevant information on works start and completion dates at its various stages.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide administrative support to the Technical Team, which will include, monitoring of key property repairs through discussion with contractors and consultants and internal partners.
- Preparation of spreadsheets to monitor ongoing complex repair works.
- Assist in the maintenance of appropriate filing systems, ensuring that information is easily accessible when required.
- Maintain and update recorded information.
- Obtain and collate relevant information to specific property, such as Building component warranties, as built drawings, and Health & Safety files.
- Produce and maintain accurate information for the Technical Team and the wider organization.
- To efficiently and courteously liaise with, undertake correspondence and deal with telephone enquiries from external organisations, tenants, and residents.

For this role, we’re looking for someone with the following:

- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Math’s and English (Grades A*- C)
- HNC/D in Construction or a degree in Architecture (Desirable)
- Previous experience of working in a design team
- Ability to work on own initiative and to meet deadlines, thriving under pressure
- Ability to contribute to the success of a team and be driven by outputs and outcomes
- Commitment to continuous improvement
