An opportunity has arisen for a full time Estate Groundsman/General Estate Handyman at Frendraught Estate near Huntly in Aberdeenshire.

We are seeking the above to work to continue to enhance and maintain the Estates’ grounds plus assist our Estate staff with general Estate maintenance on occasions when required.
- would include but are not limited to:

- Lawn mowing, hedge cutting, strimming, leaf blowing, weeding, pruning shrubs & trees
- Digging, edging lawns, planting and soft landscaping when instructed
- Weed control & lawn quality management
- Woodland planting, felling & wood chipping/log splitting
- Tractor driving, trailer towing, field maintenance and fence repairs
- Maintenance of roads, paths, ditches, ponds & fencing
- Maintain garden equipment including mowers, strimmers, chain saws & tools
- Handyman duties using power tools
- Assist with general property maintenance and water supplies when required
- Maintenance of riverbanks when required
- Driving and running errands as per business & owner requirements
- Work based in a rural location so a driving licence and own transport essential; accommodation is not provided.
- Punctual, positive “can do” attitude
- Attention to detail and flexibility are vital, tidy & organised
- Physical stamina to handle outdoor work in varied weather conditions
- Largely lone working but ability to work within team when required
- Flexibility to work overtime when necessary

A competitive salary is offered to commensurate with experience.

Pay: From £12.00 per hour
