Community Engagement Officer

**Responsibilities**:
1. Community Outreach:

- Develop and implement outreach programs to engage local community members, parents, and organizations in the educational initiatives of our institution.
- Organize community events, workshops, and information sessions to promote awareness and participation.

2. Partnership Development:

- Establish and maintain partnerships with local businesses, non-profits, and community leaders to enhance educational opportunities and resources.
- Collaborate with external organizations to create mutually beneficial initiatives.

3. Student and Family Support:

- Provide support services to students and families, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Collaborate with local agencies to connect families with relevant community resources.

4. Cultural Competency:

- Promote cultural competency and inclusivity within the educational environment.
- Develop initiatives that celebrate diversity and multiculturalism.

5. Communication and Advocacy:

- Serve as a liaison between the school and the community, effectively communicating college policies, programs, and achievements.
- Advocate for the needs of the community within the college and vice versa.

6. Data Collection and Analysis:

- Gather and analyse data related to community engagement efforts, providing regular reports and insights for continuous improvement.
- Utilize feedback mechanisms to assess the impact of community engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Community Development, Education, Social Work, or a related field.
- Proven experience in community engagement or a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of educational systems and community dynamics.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of local resources and community services.
