We are seeking an enthusiastic Front-end designer/Web Designer to join an ambitious design and marketing consultancy based in Poole offering a fun and friendly bunch of people to work with and a healthy benefits package

Our client is a steadily growing agency with in-excess of 450 ongoing clients. Their core business is online marketing activities including design, build and managing websites for business whilst also offering a full range of Graphic Design services andonline marketing options.

The company are proud to have been awarded the Investors in People Standard and are committed to developing the skills and qualifications of their team.

Due to their continued growth, they require a creative and capable person to contribute ideas whilst also working with clients’ websites, ensuring the quality of the design remains high.

Role responsibilities
- Working with the Account Management team to update and amend existing clients’ websites as required. This will involve liaising with the Account Manager to gain a full understanding of the requirement, discussing with the rest of the design team as required,and then producing results that are attractive and functional
- Produce innovative web based upon a brief provided by the sales team

Skills Required
- Experience in producing creative web design concepts, then building the site utilising JavaScript and CSS, building on WordPress CMS, to ensure a dynamic and innovative web presence for the client

Experience Required
- A minimum of one years of experience in a design-related role
- A glass-half-full person; someone motivated, who sees opportunity to make something great even on the smallest job
- Creativity; A strong portfolio is a must, exhibiting creative digital design work
- An ability to critique other designs and then offer constructive feedback in a positive and constructive manner is essential
- Excellent design and typography skills.
- An in-depth knowledge and aptitude with Adobe Creative Suite
- An understanding of what makes a Search engine friendly design
- A working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS.
- An understanding of RWD principles
- Good communication and organisational skills

**Salary**: £25-30k per annum DOE
