**Are you an innovative leader who enjoys bringing thought leadership, new ideas and creativity to make a tangible impact? We’re searching for a Bids Team Leader to lead a team of enthusiastic bid writers, creating winning bid strategies whilst adopting the latest technology to better support Lucion Group. We can offer flexible working arrangements with a hybrid role based ideally out of our Runcorn (Preston Brook) office**

**How You’ll Contribute**
- Support the various business unit leaders in achieving their goals with a focus on winning new clients and retaining existing clients
- Bring continuous innovation and thought leadership ensuring the Bids team adopt the latest tools and technology to improve and modernise the Bid writing function
- Design and deliver collective goals and individual targets for the Bids team aliened to business priorities
- Implement and grow the use of new and existing tools and technology that improves the bid writing process whilst improving management reporting and dashboards
- Provide training and development to the team through personal development plans, training programs and the adoption of best practice including house writing styles and win themes
- Use and evolve a defined bid process and time management to achieve workload optimisation
- Be data-driven using 3rd party data, tools and technology to look for trends and patterns that help increase win rates along with other insights that will improve the success of the team
- Build and catalogue the Bids horizon of opportunity over the next 5 years ensuring that company is well positioned to respond to and win an increased number of bids in the future
- Conduct lessons learned analysis to ensure continuous improvement and feedback with key themes
- Report to CCO on attainment of activity targets and goals
- Work collaboratively with departmental heads to ensure that the Bids team has access to the latest information to support the bid process
- Ensure all team members invest in their knowledge and education to maintain a competent understanding of our services, markets, and competitors

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Experience and knowledge of bid writing, ideally in the risk management or environmental consultancy market
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer literacy
- A Full UK driving license
- Familiarity with contractual agreements and client management
- Proactive, self-motivated, commercially minded and target driven
- An interest and enthusiasm for technology and innovation including AI
