A Senior Accountant is being recruited for an established and growing accountancy practice based in the Ferndown area. They have a strong client base over Hampshire and Dorset and cover a wide range of different sectors.
Working as part of a small team you will oversee the work of junior staff, have responsibility for accounts preparation, periodic management accounts, tax computations/returns and advisory, VAT returns, assisting clients with day-to-day accounting issues, transactionsand software, particularly cloud based systems and preparing for full Making Tax Digital (MTD).
Ideally you will be qualified ACA or ACCA with a strong practice background but someone Part Qualified/Finalist/Qualified by Experience would also be considered if you have the practice experience. The position is full time and office based but someone lookingfor part time hours may be considered. Knowledge of Sage, Xero, Quickbooks and Excel would be necessary. A good working environment is offered together with parking.
