Just a 5 minute drive from the historic city of Durham, Ramside Hall Hotel offers 127 luxurious bedrooms and suites, as well as our exclusive Treehouse, each offering its own unique charm with stunning views across 350 acres of beautiful private grounds.

Ramside is also home to some of the very best restaurants in County Durham, including the famous Pemberton’s Carvery, and our award winning Rib Room Steakhouse and Pan-Asian restaurant Fusion.

As the successful Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting the Bar Manager with the day to day management/operation of our various bars within Ramside Hall Hotel.

You will open/close the bar, serve customers, develop menus and product selection, maintain and order stock and ensure the bar areas are cleaned and maintained to our excellent standards.

Additionally you will supervise, motivate and train the team and ensure they fulfil their duties to the best of their ability.

But most importantly you will ensure our guests receive the highest level of customer service, so they come back time and time again.

We are looking for someone who is happy to work in a fast-paced environment, with previous experience of working in a similar role, ideally within luxury hotel. You will have excellent leadership and people skills with previous experience of supervising/managing a team.

In addition you will have excellent organisational and communication skills, and be able to lead by example in delivering exceptional levels of service**.**

But most importantly you will have a passion for customer service, and enjoy providing a memorable service.

Full time and part time positions are available. Applicants must be available to work evenings and weekends.

Due to the nature of the job, we can only accept applicants aged 18 and over.
