**Employed**

**Main Purpose**:To ensure our homes are decorated to an exemplary standard of quality and detail, within the day sequence timeframes and as instructed by the Foreman.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Carrying out internal and external painting and decorating requirements;
- All types of wall papering;
- Interpreting and working from all instructions, drawings and specifications;
- Minor repairs to surfaces prior to decorating/painting;
- Using all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works;
- Carrying out planned programme of painting and decoration in accordance with the day sequence, deadlines and as instructed by the Production Manager, Assistant Production Manager and/or Foreman;
- Requesting materials and supplies as needed;
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are met and best practice standards observed;
- Undertaking all training, including mandatory and best practice training, as required by the business;
- Ensuring the integrity of our core values, ‘Innovation, Inspiration and Imagination’ at all times.

**Salary**: Up to £13.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newton Abbot, TQ12 6FJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Painters & Decorators: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
