Kirsty’s is a rapidly growing food manufacturing business, with three exciting brands, trading over multiple categories within the chilled & frozen fixtures supplying all major retailers.
In a relatively modest factory, we can produce up to 150,000 meals a week. We are on the lookout for a Junior Creative Designer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone who’s just finished a relevant design course and is eager to kick-start their career. You’ll get to work across a variety of design projects, from packaging and retail media to social media and websites—no two days will be the same
We’re a hands-on, collaborative team, so you’ll have plenty of room to learn, grow, and bring your creative ideas to life. If you’re looking to make an impact from day one and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you.
**Job Overview**:

You’ll get the chance to work on a wide range of projects, including packaging, promotional materials, website updates, social media posts, community management and much more. We’re looking for someone who is excited to roll up their sleeves and get involved in all aspects of the creative process.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Graphic Design & Visual Content Creation
- Packaging Design: Help create designs for product packaging that stand out on shelves and align our brands identities.
- Retail Media: Design marketing materials for in-store promotions, including point-of-sale, leaflets, posters, and more.

- Social Media Content: Create graphics, images, and videos for social media campaigns across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
- Retailer Presentations: Create mock-ups for retailer presentations, including packaging on shelves and visuals for online marketing.
**Content Production**
- Photography & Videography: Take photos and videos for social media content, and website imagery. Edit and enhance the content as needed.
- Video Editing: Edit short-form videos for social media, websites, and promotional materials.
**Website Updates & Management**
- Website Maintenance: Keep our websites for all three brands up to date, ensuring that content is fresh, accurate, and aligned with current campaigns.
- User Experience: Contribute to improving the overall user experience of the brand websites.
**Social Media Content Planning & Community Management**:
- Social Media Planning: Plan & schedule content for the three brand's social media calendars, making sure content is consistent and on-brand.
- Engage with the community on social media platforms: respond to customer comments, direct messages, and mentions, maintaining an active, approachable presence.
**Other Duties**
- Hands-On Approach: As part of a small, growing team, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in various areas of the business and help with tasks beyond your core responsibilities.
- Learning & Growth: Embrace new challenges, and be open to learning from more experienced team members. We value creative thinking and encourage you to bring fresh ideas to the table
**Skills & Qualifications**
- Educational Background: Recent graduate (or about to graduate) with a degree or certification in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Graphic Design Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva. A strong foundation in design principles such as layout, typography, and colour theory.
- Photography & Videography: Experience in photography and videography, with the ability to edit and enhance images and video clips.
- Social Media: Familiar with creating content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and an understanding of current trends and best practices.
- Website Experience: Familiarity with website design and content management systems (e.g., Shopify, WordPress) is a plus, but not required. A keen interest in learning website management and e-commerce design.
- Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail, ensuring that all designs are polished and consistent across all touchpoints.
- Creativity & Initiative: Ability to think creatively, bring fresh ideas to the table, and take initiative with projects.
- Team Player: A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to learn from others and contribute to the success of the team.
