**Fully Office Based with Frequent Travel Within The UK**

**The Opportunity**

We are looking for a highly qualified Head of Human Resources / Human Resources Manager to join one of our great clients based in London who has a proven track record in the retail industry, an incredible history, and a fantastic brand. As Head of HR, you will be working a stand-alone role with no direct reports, reporting to the company Directors and taking care of the HR functions of approximately 120 employees in total. You will be expected to stay away from home 2 times per month when travelling to other stores.

**Your Roles and Responsibilities**
- Conduct preliminary interviews and coordinate final interviews with Directors.
- Foster positive and friendly relationships with all staff members.
- Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing their concerns and facilitating effective communication.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and sounding board for employees on all Human Resources matters.
- Provide guidance and support to employees, ensuring a fair and respectful work environment.
- Possess excellent knowledge of employment law to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Organise and oversee the company's staff training and mentoring programs.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee skills and career development.
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR practices with the overall business strategy.

**Your skills and experience**
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish positive working relationships with staff.
- 4+ Years of HR management experience
- Ability to serve as a reliable advisor on Human Resources matters.
- Experience in organising and implementing training and mentoring programs.
- Commercial acumen and creative thinking to provide strategic HR advice.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with employees and leadership.
- Previous experience within retail and the luxury sector would be desirable but not essential.
