About the role of HGV Driver

HBS are looking for an HGV Class 2 (C+E) driver to work full time from our depot in Shotts, North Lanarkshire.

The driver will be responsible for delivering plant and safety barrier materials to and from site. There will be a requirement to work the day shift/night shift as the workload demands and the driver should be fit enough to be able to assist with the loading and unloading of his vehicle.

This job would be suitable for someone with a construction/agricultural background.

What good looks like
- Class C+E licence.
- Digi card and full drivers CPC.
- 2-5 years' experience driving HGV's.
- No more than 6 penalty points.
- Experience in moving plant or machinery.
- Experience in using ratchet straps.
- CPCS Health and Safety card.
- Punctual.
- Good communication skills.
- Can do attitude.

What else looks good
- Lorry loader hook (Hi-AB).
- Lorry loader Clamshell bucket.
- Excavator experience.
